Active Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire partners have developed an exciting and innovative project that will see the development of a movement which captures the energy of community networks in engaging key inactive populations. Focusing on older people (including those with dementia) as well as carers/supporters, they will use insight and a proven behaviour change model, to map and revise the system for engaging inactive people.

With a focus on (paid and unpaid) workforce development, target population will be engaged and supported on the journey into activity. Given the particular focus on older people, expertise on dementia will be shared to ensure specific barriers and enablers are fully understood.
